Capgemini hackathon 2021 is designed to identify the best techies across multiple campuses and professionals.
We have a distinct Regional Challenge for students and freshers, which will be a mix of technical and aptitude questions in Level 1 followed by a coding challenge in Level 2 and Level 3.

About Capgemini Tech Challenge 2021
Our exclusive Campus Challenge for students and freshers will be a mix of technical and aptitude questions in Level 1 followed by a coding challenge in Level 2. The minimum marks to cross each Level is 40. Students can choose from any programming languages of their choice such as C, C++, Java, C#, .NET, Python, and so on to write their coding program for Level 2. The platform supports more than 50 programming languages. The top 5 coders from Level 2 & 4 different regions (East, West, North, South) as on 23rd July of the Regional challenge will be called for the online Grand Finale. Top 2 coders of the online Grand Finale will be awarded with cash prizes of INR 75,000 and INR 50,000 respectively.
That’s not all! After Level 2, all the students apart from the Top 5 at Level 2 who get a minimum of 40 marks will take part in Online Level 3 contest.
Other skill contests range from Cyber Security, Digital technologies, Cloud Computing, Insights & Data, and Java Full Stack. Students are free to participate in any contest of their choice.
Students and freshers stand a chance to win exclusive cash prizes worth up to INR 5,50,000* out of the total INR 20,00,000*. Apart from learning from our leaders, they also stand the opportunity to bag a job with Capgemini.
Rules for Capgemini Tech Challenge 2021
Rules according to each level are highlighted below:
Level – 1: Screening Phase:
- There will be a total 25 Multiple choice questions for which 30 minutes will be allotted to complete the Level 1.
- Each user will get 2 attempts per level to improve their scores in this level.
- Each correct answer will fetch the user 4 points.
- Only on submitting the answers, the user will be able to see the score on the result page.
Level – 2: Online Hackathon Phase:
- There will be a single problem statement in this round for which time duration of 22 days will be allocated to the candidate to complete Level 2.
- The number of attempts will be two.
- Participants will be able to access the problem statements once the “Participate Now” button is clicked.
- The Problem Statement page has a Live Coding Environment where you can code and compile your code.
- Once you are done writing your code, a default test case will be used to check your code.
Level – 3: Final Hackathon Phase:
- All the details regarding this round will be given only to the shortlisted candidates from Level 2.
Deliverables Expected From The Participants
For Level – 1: Screening Phase:
- You need to answer 25 MCQs in 30 minutes.
- Each correct answer will fetch the user 4 points.
- Maximum two attempts are given in screening round.
- There you need to click on the option you think is correct.
- Before submitting the solution, you can cross-check all the questions again.
- For submitting the test, you need to answer at least one question.

Top 5 students for each of the
different coding languages –
Example – C, C++, Java, Python, C# –
INR 10,000 x 5 = INR 50,000
Top coder from Top registered college from each zone
East, West, North, South – Zone wise
winner (Top coder) from college with
maximum participation in Level 1 that fall
in different zones –
INR 5,000 x 4 = INR 20,000
Social Coder
5 Students who cross all 3 levels with minimum 40 marks and have shared the maximum on social media – INR 10000 x 5 – INR 50,000
Top Colleges
Top 5 colleges with maximum participation in Level 1 will be awarded special trophies and respective Placement Officers will get an exclusive invite to the grand finale.
Top Women Coders
Top 2 Women Coders after level 2 of the regional challenge will be awarded cash prizes of
INR 50,000 and INR 30,000 respectively.
