About Ordnance Factory Itarsi
After reviewing requirements of Propellant for high caliber ammunitions via-a-visa then capacities available in 1969-70 in Chemical Ordnance Factories, a new propellant factory was considered necessary and O.F.Itarsi was set up. O.F.Itarsi manufacture Double ,Triple and Ball Powder Propellant Under Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (UIGMDP) of DRDO.

- OBC: 15 Posts
- SC: 15 Posts
- ST: 20 Posts
- EWS: 10 Posts
Age limit:
Candidates age should be in between 18 to 30 years as on 01-04-2023. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must be Ex-Apprentices of AOCP Trade possessing Ordnance factories training/experience in manufacturing and military handling explosive and also Ex-trade apprentice of AOCP trade trained in Ordnance Factories
Salary
Selected candidates will be paid on an average of Rs. 19,900/- PM by the recruiting organization.

Selection Procedure
- Selection of the candidates shall be done based on the Marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only, in the order of Merit.
- Trade Test will be carried out by Ordnance Factory Itarsi probably within one month of closing date of Advertisement. Trade Test/ Practical test will be of 100 marks.
- Merit list will be prepared based on combined marks secured in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical Test
