Overview of Microchip Internship Program
As part of the Microchip AIS (Automotive Information Systems) Linux driver team, you will be in charge of the Linux driver development and testing for the AIS 10BASE-T1S Ethernet products. Submit and maintain Linux driver source code in the Linux kernel upstream
- Get familiar with 10BASE-T1S, Linux and AUTOSAR environments.
- Prepare automated Driver Functionality Test Bench for Linux drivers.
- Support ongoing activities by taking over smaller side tasks.
Qualifications required for Microchip Internship
- B.Tech (preferably ECE or CSE) required.
- Good C programming and data structure knowledge.
- Basic knowledge in Linux driver development.
- Good understanding in Linux kernel internals and distributions.
- Basic Electronics knowledge.
- Good problem-solving skills and willing to learn any technical topics
- Useful resume writing tips for freshers
Skills required for Microchip Internship
- Knowledge in vi editor and bash script.
- Version control systems like Git and Subversion.
- Experience in working with Raspberry Pi and MPUs.
- Experience using Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
- Basics of C++, OOPS and Python.
