About Flipkart Runway Season 5
Runway aims at laying an early foundation for women in engineering by giving them early exposure to developmental opportunities through challenging & real-time problem statements, mentoring and networking opportunities. The selected students get an opportunity to intern with Flipkart in 2025 and a chance to bag a PPI (Pre Placement Interview) for an internship with Flipkart in their pre-final year.
Eligibility for Flipkart Runway
- Open to all women engineers who are in the 2nd year of their engineering course (either UG (2027 pass-outs)
- Ability to complete a full-time, 8 to 10-week internship between May to July 2025 (exact program dates will be provided at a later point in the process)Â
- Basic level programming experience in C/ C++/ Java/ JavaScript or Python, etc.
Stages and Timelines
Demo Online Assessment
Participants are recommended to undergo a Demo MCQ Assessment to familiarize themselves with the platform. This is NOT an elimination or evaluation round.
Online Assessment
The registered participants are required to take an online assessment to test their basic coding fundamentals. Candidates will have to crack 40 Multiple-choice Questions in a stipulated time of 30 Minutes. Participants will then be further shortlisted based on their performance.

Online Coding Round
Shortlisted teams will progress to the coding round, where each member will have to attempt a coding challenge consisting of 2-3 machine coding problem statements.

Interview Round
The shortlisted participants will be invited to appear for the interviews at Flipkart. Selected students get to intern with Flipkart in the summer of 2025.
