1) Job Description (JD)
A Job Description (JD) is a written narrative which describes role and responsibilities, duties, general task of a position. Go through the job description thoroughly and find the following Information:

2. Qualification
3. Skill-set required
4. Experience required (If any)
5. Job location
6. Shift timings (Day/Night)
7. Bond/ Contract (If any)
8. Salary etc.
2) Know the Company
Before appearing for an interview conduct thorough research on the company. The Interviewer may ask you questions about their company to check your knowledge and interest in the company. Research the following points before appearing at an interview.
1. Name of the Company
2. Website of the Company
3. Company profile
4. Company turnover
5. Year of Establishment
6. Domestic Company or International Company
7. Product or Services of the company
8. Big Clients
9. Management Team
10. Latest news about the company (Funding/ Acquisition)
11. Product based or Service Based company
12. Any Award etc.
3) Dress Appropriately
Dressing appropriately is important because it gives the first impression to the interviewer and the interviewer makes the first judgment about you. Wear formal attire at the time of the interview. Makeup and jewelry should be kept to a minimum.

4) Be Confident
Being confident is one of the important factors for impressing someone. When the interviewer calls you, walk straight, take permission for entering, and greet the interviewer with a smile, make eye contact, and do not look here and there because this is the thing which the interviewer would not like. Be Polite and answer their questions confidently.
5) Resume
A resume should be well prepared and should not contain false information. If you don’t perform well then there are fewer chances for selection, but if you are caught lying in an interview, there would be no chance. An interviewer can easily catch you if he/she feels suspicious about the facts you have mentioned in the resume. Therefore, it is always better to be honest, while giving facts about you.

6) Be ready with the Questions
In the final stage of the interview, the interviewer may ask you that “Do you have any questions?” Be ready with 2-3 questions like:
1. I would appreciate it if you let me know day-to-day responsibilities.
2. I love to know about the culture of the Company etc.
Tip: Don’t straight ask about Salary and benefits.
